BHS exhibits ULTRA and LAAD stretchers.
BHS presented the ULTRA stretcher at the LAAD - Latin America Aero & Defense 2005, a fair for the defense sector, April 26 through 29, at the Rio Centro in Rio de Janeiro. The equipment includes several devices coupled to the stretcher and necessary for emergency medical care, as a Mobile Intensive Care Unit for remote areas. A stretcher as movable can easily be fitted into a helicopter, an ambulance, or into some models of car. At Laad, the ULTRAstretcher was on display in the Sikorsky stand inside a BlackHawk aircraft used by the army in Manaus. On the Navy stand, the stretcher was on display in a Westland Super Lynx model. Cleber Domingues of the BHS Department for the Development of New Business presented the new product. He says: 'ULTRA caused a great impact at the LAAD Fair because it brings a new concept to the market and may prove rewarding to BHS.' LAAD is a yearly event held in Rio de Janeiro for Military Officers of the Navy, the Brazilian Army and Air Force, in addition to military officers from the Armed Forces in Latin America and other continents; for the Government, Consulates, Chambers of Commerce, executives in airspace and defense companies, specialists in commercial aviation, for pilots, engineers and technicians, among others.
