ASV Mirim Social Project
For 3 years now BHS has been developing an educational/social program, entitled Flight Safety goes to School – the ASV Mirim, which objective is to make the children of the region’s schools aware of the fact that simple day-to-day actions may interfere with Flight Safety.

Among the main points mentioned, are the dangers represented by organic trash and waste in improper locations, the risks of flying kites and releasing balloons near the airport, showing the children that these attitudes may be harmful and represent risk to flight safety, once they may cause aircraft collisions.

Since its inception, approximately 700 children have participated in the program. The project is very well accepted in the Macaé educational community, and every passing day more institutions show interest in participating. And it serves as a reference to other air taxi companies.

The lectures are conducted by the Flight Safety Supervisor, according to a monthly schedule of visits, where the children learn and become conscious of the importance of each one in matters of accident prevention.
