More than 30 children visit the hangar in Macaé
More than 30 children from the Instituto Crescer visited the BHS hangar in Macaé on April 15, as part of the program Flight Safety Goes to School, in partnership with Infraero. This time, besides seeing the companys facilities, they had a close look at the helicopters and were given notions of flight safety measures, including actions of the population neighboring the airport. The students were able to express in drawings what they learned during their visit.

A further 30 children visit the hangar in Macaé

Like the first visit in March, BHSs flight safety agent gave a talk about preventing accidents in the vicinity of airports and how each one can collaborate. He spoke about the dangers of flying kites, letting loose balloons or leaving trash near airports.

At the end of the visit, the children took part in an Arts Workshop with teacher Célia Bruno. Using crayons they produced drawings that will be displayed at a flight safety event that SERAC 3 (Regional Civil Aviation Service) will hold in Macaé in July. The students were given a Flight Safety Agents diploma (Junior Flight Safety Agent), as well as a snack and a gift.

Engineer AF, manager of the Flight Safety Group of Petrobrás, in the Campos Basin, also participated in the event. Sanitarians MCML and RME were also able to get a close look at the project.
